It is about Me

             This story is about me, about myself. My name is Indah Shintia Masniari. I was born in October 16^th, 1992 in Pematang Siantar, North Sumatera. I have flat nose, short black hair, and rounded eyes. I am about 152 cm height and 39 kg weight. I am a daughter from Abdul Miski and Elfrida Afni Simanjuntak. My parents just have two children, and I am the youngest. I am Javanese because my father is Javanese but my mother is Bataknese.

            Tell about me, I think I am a lovely person. I have many friends and I think they like me. Even thought, some friends and my family said that I am a moody person. I think they were true about that thing. Actually, I am a temperamental person. I am easy to get angry, but also easy to feel sad. I think I am a sensitive person.

            Tell about my education, I graduated from SDN 015 Pematang kayu arang in Pekanbaru, but actually, I usually move from one school to other school. May be I moved for about five times. For continuing my education, I studied in SMPN 1 Pekanbaru until I graduate. After that, I continued my Senior high school in Pematang Siantar at SMK Kartini YPI. I majored in Accounting that time. Now, for continuing my collage, I study in Universitas Negeri Padang majoring in English Department.

            My daily activities are like usual people’s activities or maybe not. I usually go to school from Monday to Friday, but sometimes I must go to school every day including Sunday. I take eight classes this semester; five classes for my major and three classes for “mku”. The five classes are listening I, writing I, reading I, speaking & pronunciation I, and structure I. For the three classes are “Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan”, “Pendidikan Agama”, and “Bahasa Indonesia”.

            Even those are make me exhausted, I always try to finish them fast. About my bad habit, I hope my friends and my family can understand. I will try to change my bad habit, I will try to be patience and not easy to get angry. I know that will be hard, but I will try to make my life better than now.

Riding Bicycle or Motorcycle

             In this recent time, people are very busy and need vehicles to make their life easy. There are many kind of vehicles that can be used by people. Now, there are two most famous vehicles that people usually use: bicycle and motorcycle. Both of these vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses. The three most differences of these vehicles are the healthy, air pollution, and the time and the cost.

            The first most difference between these two vehicles is the healthy. Riding bicycle is much healthier than riding motorcycle. Because when people ride it, all parts of their body are being worked. . It is really different when people ride motorcycle because they just sit and ride it. So, according from the healthy riding bicycle is better than riding motorcycle.

            The second difference is air pollution causes. Motorcycle must need gasoline to make it run well. Gasoline, itself causes the air pollution. It makes motorcycle being the causes of pollution. If the rider of motorcycle increases, it also causes for increasing air pollution. However, bicycle does not need gasoline. People just ride it only by actuating their foot. So, bicycle does not cause the air pollution.

            The third are the time and the cost. When people ride motorcycle, it can save more their time because people can go anywhere faster than ride bicycle. According to the cost, riding bicycle is more effective to save money, because it does not use gasoline like motorcycle. So, it also can save the supply of world gasoline.

            In conclusion, riding bicycle and riding motorcycle. According to their time, the cost, cares and healthy; the choice is really depends on the people who want to ride the vehicles. They can choose motorcycle if they think that time is more important than healthy. They also can choose bicycle if healthy is the most important. So, they should consider their needs and possibilities to choose the best vehicle for them because each vehicle has their strength and weakness.

My Lovely Family

            My family is the first people whom really important to me. I love my family so much because they care and love me so much. They always support me in every situation, when I am down, they try to give me some advices that can make me up again. When I am happy, they are happy too. They always help me if I have some problems in my life. My family members are only four people including me, but my sister already got married and has two children. So, now I have step brother, one nephew and one niece.

            The leader of my family is my father. His characteristics are pretty tall, thin and has black skin. He is a great father whose I have and I am very proud of him. He is a resolute man and he is so patience person. He never gets angry with me. He just gives me advice if I did something wrong. The best thing from him, he is not stingy to me. He always tries to complete my necessities. I love him.

            Second, my mother is the best mother for me. She is fat, short, has short hair and has brown skin. She is a talkative person and easy to get angry to me, but I know that is kind of her love to me. She is a good house wife and she can also be my friend. She always wants to listen my story, even if I tell her about my friends or someone who likes me. I always ask her for some advices. My mother also can be my teacher. She teaches me everything that I do not know before; for instance, cooking, washing. She teaches me to be an independent girl. I love her very much.

            The last one is my sister. She is beautiful for me. She is tall, slim, has short hair and brown skin. She already got married and has two children; Faalih and Ilene. I learn much from her. She teaches me to be clean and discipline person because I was a lazy person before. I have changed to be a better one because of her. It really helps me now because I do not live with my parents, so I must take care of myself. Thank you my sister, I love her so much.

            They are all of my family. They are my lovely family. I am proud for having them. There is nobody can instead them for me, because they are the only and lovely. They are my complete and great family. I love my family very much.

“Takbiran” Night in My Hometown

            “Idul Fitri” is the biggest celebration of Muslim people. They usually celebrate that day with many and big events such as: bazaar and MTQ competition. Especially in my hometown, people there always celebrate it with the big event like “Takbiran”. It is the usual event in my hometown at the night before “Idul Fitri’s” day. It is always celebrated once a year.

            “Takbiran” is one of the famous events in my hometown. It is celebrated at night before “Idul Fitri” celebration. After Magrib or Isya pray, people in my hometown go out to celebrate it. For the eldest people, they usually celebrate it at the mosque and say “Takbir” sentences. For the adult or young people, they prefer celebrate it with go around the town by car or motorcycle and say “Takbir” sentences together.

             Many young people carry big drum or bamboo to make it to be instruments for making the event more interesting and cheerful. In my hometown, the big drum is called “Bedug”. They beat the drum following “Takbir” sentences together. Sometimes they say “Takbir” sentences with screaming. Although, it makes crowd but they like to do that. They think that it is the way to show their spirit to celebrate it. They also round the town and ask other people to follow and do what they do.

            At the end of the event, it is about 12.00 a.m. Commonly, the local government gives facilities to celebrate it. They give many big fireworks to explode at the center of the town. Many people come there to celebrate and see the event together after they have finished going around the town.

            That is a great event in my hometown. Many people are happy together at the event. Although it makes noise, crowded and also traffic jam but many people enjoy it. From the children, adult and also eldest people, they love this event.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

                 Many people like to consume chocolate very much. Most of them make it as their favorite food but many of them just consume it and do not know how to make and cook it to be more interesting. They think that making food from chocolate is difficult; though making food from chocolate is so easy. Chocolate chip cookies is one of food made from chocolate and also delicious food. Here is the way to make the chocolate chip cookies.

            Before making chocolate chip cookies, it is the ingredients needed to prepare: unsalted butter, granulated white sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, light brown sugar, baking soda, salt, semisweet chocolate chips, and walnut or pecans. After all of the ingredients are complete, do not forget to prepare the equipments: mixer, cookie sheet, measuring spoons and cups, spatula, mixing bowl, mixing spoon, topples or big plate, parchment paper, and cooling rack. Then, you start to make the cookies.

First, combine the butter, white sugar and brown sugar, shortening in a large mixing bowl and beat. After all the ingredients completely are combined, add the vanilla and eggs. For the different mixture, combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl until they are combined. Next, mix the first mixture and the second mixture, mix them until they are totally combined and add the chocolate chips. After that, scoop up a golf ball size amount of dough with a spoon and drop onto a cookie sheet. Then, put the cookies in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes. After the cookies are ready, use a spatula to lift cookies off onto wax paper or a cooling rack. Let them cool for about 5 minutes. Finally, the chocolate chip cookies are ready to serve.

            For making them to be more interesting, serve them on a big plate or in topples. Making chocolate chip cookies is so easy. It is not wasting much time. Try this at home and enjoy the delicious chocolate chip cookies.

My Best Idol, Adam G. Sevani

  I am one of Adam G. Sevani big fans. His complete name is Adam Gary Sevani. He is a great dancer, especially freestyle dancer. Freestyle dance is combination of Break dance and Hip-hop dance. I was being his fans, since I watched his film “Step Up 3D”. I was falling in love with his performance when I watched it for the first time. He is an awesome dancer. I was astonishing with him.

            Not only as a great dancer, Adam is also a great actor. He was being an actor since he was a child. In 2009 until 2010, he has done two films about dance. He played on “Step Up 2 and 3D” as Robert Alexander III or Moose. His dancing and acting were so good in those films. He looked perfect for it. Adam is good looking. He has thin lips and curly brown hair. His body is average and has a cute face.

            Adam was born in June 29^th, 1992 in Los Angeles, California. His parent’s names are Edita and Gagik Sevani. His father is Armenian and his mother is Italian. He has one brother whose name Vaha Sevani or commonly is called V Sevani. His brother was one of members in NLT boy band. Adam was interesting in dance and started his first dance from the young age. His parents found the dancing studio and were entry him to “The Synthesis Dance Center” in Los Angeles.

            Adam first career, he featured in 2 J.C Penny’s Children’s Apparel Commercial with fellow child actor or dancer. Adam was also a part of “Fly Kidz”, a singing group and children television show on CBS Network. Adam was praised by The New York Times for portraying a character who might be the worst nerd in movie history. He also received The 2008 Young Hollywood award for “best scene stealer” for his role as Moose.

            In November 2008, he also featured in a tribute video to Michael Jackson’s 25^th “Thriller” Anniversary video for Halloween with his best friend, Alyson Stoner. Adam reprised the role of “Moose” and Alyson Stoner as “Camille Gage”. Adam was also in one episode of “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory 3” to shoot a music video with Rob Dyrdek and choreograph their moves.

               In 2011, Adam will play in his new film that is title LOL: Laughing out Loud. He will play with famous singer and actress, Miley Cyrus. The film will be release in this year, but it does not finish yet. I hope this film will be good and better than his last film.
